Akihito Shoji, founder and current president of Delightworks, will take over as chairman and CEO of the studio with the appointment of Ono.

Earlier, there were rumors of Capcom abandoning the vision Street fighter vioffered by Ono. According to a trusted industry insider, the company has made the decision to change the project leader.
