Yoshinori Ono: Capcom is ready to consider releasing Street Fighter projects on Switch

Producer Capcom Yoshinori Ono open to opportunities to release games from the series Street fighter on the Nintendo switch. This was the Japanese developer said in an interview with the portal US gamer.

As noted by Ono, on the hybrid console left Ultra Street Fighter II and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Both projects have been commercially successful. The producer also pointed out the popularity of other fighting games released on Switch.

“If there is another opportunity that makes sense for us, we will consider the possibility of releasing the project on Switch .. As for Street Fighter V, it is currently intended exclusively for PS4 and PC … But we consider Switch as an important platform for all kinds of games, “said the developer.

In the fall of 2019, Yoshinori Ono announced that in order to release new games from the Street Fighter series, gamers should ask Nintendo, not Capcom. Presumably, it was the platform holder who came up with business proposals to the development team in the two previous cases.

Also port Ultra Street Fighter IV on ps4 and Street fighter v came out thanks to financial support from Sony.
