Tom Holland: The Uncharted film is inspired by the fourth game, shooting starts in a month

The movie is based on Uncharted there was a long and problematic story, but after all the turmoil, it seems that by now all the production confusion has been left behind. In conversation with IGN reporters at the premiere of Pixar’s new animated filmForwardTom Holland confirmed that the filming of the film adaptation of Uncharted will start in four weeks.

“To be honest, Uncharted 4 is one of my favorite video games. It’s incredible. The film is largely inspired by her. […] So yes, we start shooting in about four weeks. Mark Wahlberg will make a great Sally. The stunt team already working in Berlin has done an amazing job of preparing stunts. It will be fun”.

Holland also commented on the young version of Nathan Drake, noting that viewers are waiting for a fresh look at the character.

“There was definitely a lot of inspiration that came from the games, but it’s a very young, fresh look at Nathan Drake, because obviously we didn’t meet him so often when he was young. But the film will still be very cool and global. We we travel the world and see amazing places. Mark Wahlberg and I are going to have a great summer together. “

According to reporters, the film will be directed by Ruben Fleischerwho shot Venom and the two parts of Zombieland. The premiere will take place on March 4th of next year.
