A year later, Ubisoft decided to share how safe and inclusive the redesigned workplace has become for all employees. The management entrusted the agency Accenture thorough audit of HR policies and processes, updated the code of conduct and regularly conducts trainings and focus groups.
The Ubisoft blog entry was published just days after another round of investigation. French edition Le Télégramme, referring to the words of the company’s employees, claims that, by and large, nothing has changed over the past year.

All personnel changes did not lead to anything, since the key figures of the first investigation remain in their places. And every fourth Ubisoft employee claims that he was a witness or a victim of the misbehavior of the management.

For example, Florent Castelnerak, head of division Nadeo, dozens of subordinates were accused of harassment, but he was never fired. Head of the Singapore office, at the same time director Skull and Bones, was removed from his post, but remains in the company. And after the appointment of the head of the Canadian branch of Christophe Derenne, new complaints of misconduct come from there.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot assures us that he himself, like all management, has a responsibility to be a role model. He assured that he continues to improve the corporate culture and introduce real, sustainable and positive changes. And all employees can anonymously complain about inappropriate behavior, and these complaints are investigated by an independent organization.
