Already today, April 9, at 17:00 Moscow time Blizzard will start sending invitations to participate in technical alpha testing Diablo II: Resurrected (entry – by link). Players will have access to the first two acts (“The Invisible Eye” and “Secrets of the Wizards”) and three classes (Amazon, Barbarian and Sorceress).
Edition PC Gamer received early access to the technical alpha and published the graphical and gameplay settings for the remake. You can see them in the screenshots below.

The graphics settings were divided into two parts: one for the updated graphics, and the other for the original. Recall that in Diablo II: Resurrected, you can switch to the original graphics on the fly with the click of a button.

In the settings of the updated graphics, players will be able to turn dynamic resolution on and off, adjust resolution scaling and frame rate limiting, as well as change the quality of textures, shadows, anti-aliasing, shading models and transparency. The original graphics settings were left untouched.

New options can also be found in the gameplay settings: auto-picking gold and standard control keys (with the ability to customize controls), and modes for the visually impaired and color blind have not yet been implemented. Also, players will be able to customize the auto map and interface.

The first stage of testing will end on April 12, but in the future, players will have a second stage with access to multiplayer. Diablo II: Resurrected will be released before the end of the year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The game can already be pre-ordered in Battle.net for 1999 rubles.
