Official: Blizzard Announces Diablo II: Resurrected Open Beta for All Platforms

Company Blizzard Entertainment officially announced and dated the public beta Diablo II: Resurrected

There will be two testing phases in total: with 13 on 17 august early access for pre-downloads will take place, and with twenty on August 23 everyone else will be able to play the pre-release version. Both stages will begin and end at 20:00 Moscow time.

In the upcoming test, players will be given two new classes to try out: Druid and Paladin. In addition to them, users will have access to three classes that have already appeared in the alpha: the sorceress, the barbarian and the Amazon.

During both beta periods, multiplayer and cross-platform progression will be available. Up to 8 people will be able to participate in one game together, while the participants will be able to help each other in battle, and the health reserve of monsters, the experience gained and the number of trophies received will increase as more players join the session. In addition, it will be possible to participate in duels and collect ears of opponents defeated in PvP combat as trophies.

And finally, just like in the technical alpha test, players will be able to complete the first and second acts of the campaign, only now with completely recreated cinematics instead of the old ones.

The beta will run on all platforms except Nintendo Switch… Xbox users will need Live Gold for early availability, while no subscription will be required for the open testing phase. In the case of the PlayStation, PS Plus is not required at both stages.

Diablo II: Resurrected will be released on all platforms September 23rd exclusively in numbers.
