Along with baseline subscription prices, the cost of higher support levels has changed. Those interested can start donating $ 260 or $ 650 to streamers each month, receiving special channel rewards. By default, the content in these packs has remained the same despite the price cut.

Twitch subscription prices have changed in other regions as well. In the CIS countries, where prices are in dollars, the basic level of streamer support costs $ 1.5 instead of $ 5.

As representatives of the streaming platform explained, the introduction of regional prices was influenced by an experiment in Mexico and Turkey, as a result of which residents of these states began to subscribe five times more often. The site also promised to compensate content authors for a possible drop in income in the first months after the policy change.
