Spider-Man remaster for PlayStation 5 can get 1080p and 60 FPS with ray tracing

Before tomorrow’s launch Playstation 5 more videos with comparison appeared on the network Marvel’s Spider-Man in original and remastered.

Portals GameSpot, IGN and Hardcore Gamer compared both versions of the project side by side. Journalists launched the original game on PS4 Pro, and demonstrated the remaster in two modes for greater clarity: Fidelity Mode with additional effects and ray tracing, and Perfomance Mode with 60 FPS, but simplified graphics without ray tracing.

Meanwhile, Insomniac Games has hinted that Spider-Man: Remastered may have an intermediate graphics mode.

The Verge editor Tom Warren tweeted yesterday a video showing the remaster of Spider-Man in ray-tracing modes with increased frame rate, and in the comments he was told that it would be cool if the game was able to play with ray tracing in 1080p at 60 FPS … After some time, Insomniac noticed the request, responding to the user with a thoughtful emoticon. Perhaps the developers will consider adding such a mode in a future update.

Spider-Man Remastered will be available at PS5 launch as part of the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Expanded Edition. In Russia, the console officially starts 19th November
