Menelik II became the leader of Ethiopia in Civilization VI – review

Studio Firaxis games introduced a new gameplay video Civilization VI, in which the authors spoke in detail about the features of a new civilization – Ethiopia.

The leader of Ethiopia was Menelik II with the ability of the Council of Ministers. Thanks to it, civilization receives additional culture and science for faith in cities on the plains, and its units receive additional military power on the plains.

Moreover, Ethiopia’s unique ability allows civilization to obtain additional faith from resources, as well as buy archaeological museums and archaeologists for their faith.

The unique unit of Ethiopia is the Oromo cavalry, which will replace the Flying Squad. Oromo cavalry possesses increased combat power and visibility, and also does not receive a fine for traveling on the plains.

Ethiopia can improve the cage with the help of the Rock Temple, which can only be built on the plains or volcanic soil. Several of these churches can be built next to each other, and the adjoining mountains and plains give extra faith. At the same time, temples cannot destroy natural disasters.

Ethiopia will appear in the game on July 23. The corresponding DLC can be purchased separately or obtained as part of a subscription New frontier pass.
