Review of The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters

Korean company Devespresso games continues the development of its horror series The coma, offering another story about the school.

The main character of the game The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters Mina Pak from an ordinary student of the school “Sehva” turns into a traveler in other dimensions. Having woken up in a distorted and badly rotten version of her own educational institution, she becomes the victim of a distraught teacher who wants to rip out her heart, and nightmarish monsters hungry for her blood.

The world of the afterlife “Coma” lives by its own rules. Here demonic roots sprout through doors, bizarre monsters hide in students’ lockers, and the emotions of real people lead their own meaningless lives.

Following the school, Mina goes to the police station, to the ghost market and to the subway captured by the demons. In every place she needs to find door keys, find important objects or save a lost soul.

Performing side tasks, the girl is able to help ghosts and create weapons against the ominous sister, who pursues her, destroying everything in her path.

Rare puzzles require accurate instructions, but most of the time you will run away, dodge, or hide from nightmares, sometimes performing simple QTEs.

A leisurely gameplay involves finding and using money to buy antidotes from poisonous disputes, dressings from blood loss or a sweet burger to restore health lost in collisions with evil.

IN The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters there is a sufficient amount of backtracking, but it does not tire, as you collect new notes and find objects important for the narration.

But random deaths and a constant mania to maintain progress keeps you in constant tension. At the same time, at the beginning of the game, you can hear the clatter of the approaching heels of a dangerous sister and take cover in a closet or under a table in time. And by the end of the story, the sister jumps out of the most unexpected places or several dangerous monsters attack you at once, not giving time for a respite.

The heroine can replenish the supply of stamina with drinking water, but it also costs money, and a knocked out breath guarantees you the most unpleasant consequences.
