Out of the water: The streamer uttered a word with the letter “H” and was not banned

Popular Twitch streamer Aircool was criticized after using a word that is perceived by part of society as a racist insult during a broadcast from a hot tub with other streamers.

The trinity of streamers had fun on the occasion of Corinna Kopf’s birthday celebration, drinking alcohol, talking with viewers and drawing signals for donations on each other’s bodies, but at some point, the guest of the Aircool broadcast, warmed up by alcohol, decided to try himself as a rapper, composing a few lines on the go a text in which viewers heard a word with the letter “H” that is offensive to black people.

The streamer Corinna Kopf, who was present at that broadcast, tried to defend her Twitch colleague, convincing users that he was drunk and uttered illegible phrases, but YouTuber Def Noodles presented convincing evidence that she was wrong by showing a controversial segment of the stream with the included subtitles as well as slow speed.

It is noteworthy that Twitch is very strict about racist statements, often immediately punishing users for violations, but in this case, the streamer Aircool came out dry. Some have already accused the site of double standards.

Aircool’s Twitch channel has over 880,000 followers, for whom it conducts conversational streams, as well as broadcasts games such as Fortnite and Call of duty warzone
