Mafia author Daniel Vavra criticized the remake’s gameplay

Shortly after the announcement of the remake Mafia the author of the original, Daniel Vavra, directly said that he did not expect anything good from the upcoming novelty.

The Czech game designer jokingly criticized the appearance of exploding red barrels, a cover system, a physical model from Grand theft auto v and a fivefold increase in the number of enemies in firefights.

Along with this, Vavra was dissatisfied with Paul’s appearance – he compared him with Shrek, Hulk and a frog, grinning, supposedly this is a feature of the nextgen.

However, many did not agree with the opinion of Wavra, after which he completely deleted his messages. Comments on the situation to the Czech Eurogamer he admitted that he had behaved incorrectly towards his former colleagues and did not want to offend the actor.

The Czech division is also working on the Mafia remake 2K Games, which largely consists of the developers of the first and second part of the series. Command Hangar 13 She reacted to Vavra’s words with a grain of humor – considering them a compliment, since he could not get to the bottom of other elements.
