Walking in Chernobyl: Published a new gameplay video of a fan remake of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Enthusiast Ivan Sors published a new gameplay video with a demonstration of his fan remake of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R .: Shadow of Chernobylwhich is created on the engine Unreal engine 4. The author showed the latest build of the game at the moment. In the presented video there are no enemies, and the character walks around the military base and its environs, demonstrating the graphic capabilities of the Epic Games proprietary engine.

In the description for the video, the modder notes that when working with the Unreal Engine, he uses only 12GB of RAM, and plans to buy another 16GB next month. Ivan is glad that he managed to achieve a stable frame rate of 60FPS with such incredible detail. In the following videos, the author promises to show other locations, but emphasizes that there is still a lot of work.

For the first time, the creation of a fan remake became known in May 2019. Ivan has not yet received a single letter in his address demanding to stop development. Does ukrainian studio know Gsc game world the existence of this project is still unknown.

The remake now does not even have a tentative release date, nor information about the release of the demo version.
