The first trailer for Bionicle: Masks of Power – another game based on “Bionicle”

Open world action adventure Bionicle: Masks of Power will be officially released in the service Steam

This is a non-profit project from a group of enthusiasts Team Kanohi, which was launched in 2015 based on the history of the original line of constructors Lego bionicle… In the game, gamers have to take control of six Toa warriors, elemental heroes, who must collect all twelve masks of Kanohi’s power, free the islanders of Mata Nui and defeat the evil Makuta.

The first version of Bionicle: Masks of Power was born back in 2016 and recently got the latest update. Now, having gained experience, the developers are creating a completely new version 2.0 from scratch, which will be hosted on the Valve platform.

The project draws inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (design and exploration of the world), NieR: Automata (combat system) and Monster hunter (battles with large opponents). In their developer journal, the team also mentions that David Michael Williamson, who was the narrator on Nestle’s 2001 Bionicle ad, returned to the series with the voice of the first teaser trailer.
