Nightdive Studios is working on a remaster for the action movie Shadow Man – review

In 1999, the studio Acclaim released Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Dreamcast and PC third-person action adventure Shadow man. And now the studio Nightdive and publishing house Valiant entertainment give the “forgotten classics” a second life.

Updated version Shadow Man: Remastered will be released on PlayStation, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The creators of the remaster want to preserve all the characteristic features of the superhero Valiant, but at the same time give the players a modern project with all the expected functions.

Shadow Man remaster will support up to 4K resolution, dynamic lighting, HDR, smoothing and post-processing effects. The creators will return to the game previously cut content, overwrite the sound and redraw the artwork. In addition, the remaster will have a more balanced gameplay.

The hero of Shadow Man is Michael Le Roi, who at first became a zombie slave named Ziro, but then regained his memory along with a powerful voodoo artifact. The powerful voodoo priestess Agneta sends him to collect dark souls to prevent the Apocalypse.

The release of Shadow Man: Remastered is scheduled for 2023. And in May, Valiant Entertainment is about to announce a new series of Shadow Man comics.
