Independent developer Jon Bookout and his associates raise money for an unusual role-playing game Lucid soul… It has been described as a retro-style fantasy horror game with turn-based squad combat and a villainous protagonist.
According to the creators of the game, there are enough charismatic and memorable villainous characters in the story, and in a number of projects there is an opportunity to take the dark side: Undertale, Knights of the old republic, Fable etc. However, something new awaits us in Lucid Soul: the path of a hero who is poisoned and vicious from the very beginning, and the choice comes down only to how to commit villainy.
As you progress through the story, players will be able to capture various cities and territories and give them to their squadmates to control. And the next time we get to the same place, we will see how it has changed under the influence of the character traits.
