Harsh Doorstop and Warfare 1944 – review

Risen from the dead studio Microprose announced two more new projects. These are tactical games. Operation: Harsh Doorstop and Warfare 1944, and the studio is working on them Drakeling labs with the support of the community.

The action of Warfare 1944 takes place during the Second World War, and the focus of the creators is tactical operations on vast territories and with a huge selection of weapons and equipment. In this case, the shots cause significant damage, so you can die from a single hit.

Of particular importance in Warfare 1944 is communication between players. To do this, the creators embed a voice chat into the game. In early access Steam Warfare 1944 will be released on July 7.

Operation: Harsh Doorstop is a free online tactical shooter that will have no microtransactions, no loot boxes, or paid add-ons. At the same time, they plan to add new factions, weapons, vehicles and other content to the game, including support for modifications.

Operation: Harsh Doorstop takes place in Afghanistan in 1991, during a fictional conflict between the USSR and NATO forces. However, later they plan to add real and fictional campaigns and missions to the game, including from World War II and the war in the Pacific Gulf.

The game is also about to go into early Steam access, but for it a date has not yet been announced.
