Final Fantasy XIV will go to the moon in autumn with the release on PlayStation 5 – Igromania

Square enix made two major announcements on Final fantasy xiv – introduced the extension Endwalker and an MMORPG version for PlayStation 5.

The story of the next chapter of the game is dedicated to the finale of the plot of Hidaelin and the Zodiark, which began with the launch A realm reborn… Now the Warriors of Light have to go to the far corners of Heidelin and, suddenly, to the moon.

While Endwalker will end many long-standing adventures, it will also mark the beginning of many new ones. As part of the add-on, they will raise the maximum level (to 90) and introduce a new profession (Sage’s healer), as well as traditionally add new locations, items, equipment, enemies and dungeons.

The release is scheduled for the fall for PS5, PS4 and PC.

Also, PlayStation 5 owners will be able to try the nextgen version of MMORPG from April 13, when its open testing begins. The new console promises 4K resolution, higher frame rates and faster downloads.

Final Fantasy XIV owners on PS4 will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free at the start of the open beta, while others will be able to try the game on PS5 through a free trial.

The full launch of MMORPG on PS5 will take place after the end of the open beta – the game will smoothly flow into release. This is expected to happen in the fall with the launch of the Endwalker extension.
