Cyberpunk 2077 Biggest Patch: CD Projekt Shared Details of Update 1.3

Polish studio CD Projekt RED revealed detailed information about the long-awaited update 1.3 for a sensational role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077… Fans have been waiting for him for several months. The patch promises to implement a number of technical adjustments and improvements, including:

  • Changes to the mini-map system in Cyberpunk 2077 – now, when driving in vehicles, you can more easily navigate the terrain, thanks to more convenient zooming of the map.
  • Reworked episode of going to the club “Clouds“, where V can choose one of the partners – Angel or Sky. Now the window with the portraits and names of both characters stays on the screen longer, so players will not be able to accidentally choose an unwanted company.
  • It will be possible to reset previously selected perks for in-game currency, thanks to which you can freely completely change the build of your character in any segment of the game.

Improvements

  • Improved minimap scaling while driving, which should help with navigation while driving.
  • Now the portraits of Skye and Angel are in the quest “Dollhouse”are displayed for much longer, which should make it easier to choose between them.
  • Added the ability to redistribute ability points on the character’s skill tree.
  • On all platforms, the number of autosave slots has been increased from 10 to 20, and the number of quick save slots has been increased from 3 to 10.
  • Database links added to log entries.
  • Added the ability to place a dot in the center of the screen, which should help reduce or stop motion sickness. To enable, select Settings → Interface → Point in the middle of the screen.
  • Now fixers will write to V less often with an offer to buy a vehicle.
  • Improved the quality of reflection effects, which should reduce graininess on consoles and computers with low graphics settings.
  • Filtering by quest items has been added to the backpack.
  • Now the “Quest Item” label will disappear from items after completing the corresponding quests, allowing them to be sold or dropped.
  • You can now rotate the Vee model with the mouse when viewing equipment.
  • Players can now re-create the script, even if they previously got rid of it after creation.
  • Added the ability to compare implants.
  • Improved the notification that appears when purchasing implants that V cannot install due to high requirements.
  • Now you can improve several components at the same time.
  • Added new spots to V’s apartment where Nibbles can sleep.
  • The icon on the body elimination container now turns red when V picks up the body.
  • Mine icon will now turn gray after it has been defused.
  • Added the ability to ride the elevator while carrying the body.
  • Barry from the assignment “Two comrades” got a new, more memorable appearance.
  • The base item will now be highlighted in green, like the components, if it is in equipment while crafting the same higher quality item.

Balance changes

  • The time it takes to detect enemies now depends on the difficulty of the game. Enemies on low and medium difficulty levels will now detect the player more slowly. Enemies on the highest difficulty level now detect the player faster.
  • Enemies at the highest difficulty level (and only at this difficulty level) will now be more aggressive when searching when they are in a warned state.
  • V is no longer pursued by the police for murders during short-term fixed events in the open world.
  • The police will now issue an arrest warrant if V uses a non-lethal weapon against a character.
  • Changed the severity of damage dealt to crowd characters during gunfights, depending on the distance and the weapon used.
  • Improvements have been made to the behavior of Adam Smasher during the battle during the mission “The Legend of the Night City”.
  • Improvements have been made to Oda’s behavior during the battle during the “Audience” mission.
  • Improvements have been made to Placis’s behavior during combat during the Human Factor mission.
  • Increased Placid’s resistance to hacking during the Human Factor mission.
  • Improvements have been made to the behavior of a cyberpsychopath during combat during the quest “Attack of Cyberpsychosis: The Letter of the Law.”
  • Improvements have been made to the placement and shooting accuracy of Red Menes during the “How to get a star from the sky” quest.
  • Improved performance of Jackie’s iconic pistols, La Chingona Dorada.
  • Increased the amount of available ammo at the start of a mission “The last game of rescuers”
  • Made minor fixes to the operation of the “Infection” script and improved its balance.
  • Reworked the item crafting system. Items with no fixed quality become better quality as the Craft skill develops. It is no longer possible to randomly craft a high quality item without having the appropriate Crafting skill level.
  • Level requirements now increase with every item upgrade. As a result of this fix, the level of the improved items will change. Items from the current character’s equipment that require a higher level can be used further, but they will become unavailable for use after they are removed from the equipment.
  • Added additional documentation for implant modifications.
  • Added knife documentation (available from the start of the game).
  • Changed the number of components required to craft some items, such as Bounce, MaxDock, scripts, clothing mods, and some weapons.
  • Adjusted clothing mod documentation.
  • Adjusted the number of components needed to craft clothes.
  • Adjusted the number of components required to craft the Sandevistan parts.
  • Now the “Optical Masking” implant can be purchased from rippers.
  • The price of the “Touch Amplifier” modification has been adjusted.
  • Documentation of the rare Unity pistol can now be obtained only by closing the Organized Crime Investigation Application “Sharp talons”
  • Changed the price and quality of Kerry’s guitar, which can be obtained by completing an order “Psychophane”

Game process

  • Fixed a bug due to which the documentation was only available in clothing stores during the first conversation with the seller.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the ability to use weapons and items from the quick access menu after coming to the nomad camp was lost.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the achievement “Everything is scripted here” could not be obtained by hacking a neutral target
  • Skill check tutorial will no longer appear if the character does not have device permissions.
  • Vee no longer looks down after fast travel.

  • Image in the second message received from Nancy during missions “Surprise!” and “Red Prophet”, is now displayed correctly.
  • The description of the reward received for increasing the level of the “Create” skill has been reformulated. It now includes the correct information about the lower cost of upgrading items.
  • The image of Makino MTL1 in the Call Vehicle menu now matches the vehicle’s appearance.
  • Removed technical lines from the description of the Good, Bad, Ugly ability.
  • Grouped icons no longer move out of place on the map when zooming.
  • The correct icon will now be displayed instead of the overload icon when the stamina is depleted next to the health bar.
  • In the description of the car “Villefort Alvarado V4F 570 Delegate”, the type of transmission design (rear-wheel drive) is now correctly indicated.
  • Now in the Polish version of the game, in the parameters of the synaptic accelerator, the possible intervals of its activation are correctly indicated.
  • Fists now display the correct item type in the weapon’s radial menu.
  • Fixed the Chiba-11 area text contained on the chip.
  • The game no longer freezes when the player enters Photo Mode immediately after opening the Shop Menu.
  • Cult items that can be collected are now displayed on the minimap with a gold icon.
  • Fixed bugs due to which indicators of hit and confirmation of destruction were not displayed when destroying enemy turrets.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the marks of unsuspecting enemies were changed to red instead of yellow.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the speed of memory recovery, the value of which did not exceed 0.5, was shown incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the “Expand” button was displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the buttons under the warning about changing modifications worked incorrectly.
  • Fixed a bug with disabled keys indicated in the tooltips when breaking the protocol.
  • Hints about keys that are not working on it have been removed from the cyberdeck panel.

Graphics, sound, animation

  • The composite rocker mini jumpsuit now fits V properly.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the mono-string could slightly misalign V’s hands with a male physique and be visible through clothing.
  • Fixed a bug due to which during the mission “Pass to the Major League” a suitcase with a Bolt could hover outside the Compacky Plaza’s doorstep, blocking the passage.
  • Fixed a bug due to which changing the music volume in the sound settings affected not only the background music, but also the radio.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Takemura’s voice to double when talking to V in the van during a mission “Old friends”
  • Fixed an issue that caused V’s legs with a female physique and V’s underpants with a male physique to protrude through some non-runner jumpsuits.
  • Fixed a bug related to the animation of a run started after jumping up or down.
  • Fixed a bug due to which dust particles were sometimes displayed incorrectly.
  • Characters’ skin color will no longer become too bright in dark areas.
  • During the assignment “Cherche la femme” Adam Smasher’s shadow will no longer appear on the elevator door after rewinding the brandance to the start
  • Arasaki soldiers will no longer appear in front of the player after returning to Takemura during a mission “Apartment No. 303”.

Environment and levels

  • Repaired map holes located in Watson, Town Center, Westbrook, Haywood and Santo Domingo.
  • Adjusted the route of vehicles on the ring road in the city center.
  • Fixed bugs with places where you could get stuck forever.
  • Fixed bugs due to which objects of the environment disappeared.
  • Fixed bugs due to which items appeared suddenly in front of the player.
  • Bugfixes have been made to the Biotech Plains navigation system that was navigating through inaccessible areas.

Tasks

  • The chips have been redistributed into their respective categories.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the calls to characters who issued the task, sometimes abruptly interrupted, causing these characters to appear during other people’s calls and potentially causing errors in other phone conversations with them.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the interrupted phone conversation was resumed during another call, which caused the character to appear during other people’s calls and caused errors in other phone conversations with him.

Miscellaneous

  • Judy’s gift now ends up in V’s apartment after the player receives a message about it after completing all the required side quests.
  • Fixed inconsistencies with the plot in radio messages.
  • Removed the blackout effect that was present during the quest “Love as a motive” when playing some languages.

PC changes

  • Fixed a bug due to which training notifications were incorrectly displayed on screens with a resolution of 8K.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash if the save preview was damaged.
  • Fixed bug when switching between windowed and fullscreen mode using Alt + Enter hotkeys.
  • You can now exit locked scan mode by pressing TAB.
  • Added a smaller version of the mouse cursor.

Changes for consoles

  • The inner deadzone setting now applies to the game menu as well.
  • [PlayStation] Characters no longer speak after death.
  • Accelerated loading of lights from street light sources.
  • Now the save file is not damaged if the hard disk does not have enough memory to overwrite the save.
  • The masks and pipes in the stable will now always be visible during the quest “Hunting the Hunter”.
  • Now the Beast does not show through Johnny and holds the glass correctly during the mission “At the Crossroads.”
  • Fixed a bug due to which the police did not start a conversation with V, if the player saved in front of the checkpoint, which did not allow the task to be completed “The last game of rescuers.”
  • [PlayStation 4] Fixed a bug during the mission “Palace coup”, because of which the meeting with Judy and the dolls did not start
  • [Xbox] Fixed a bug during the mission “Cocktail” Silverhand “”, due to which some of the events at the Cassius Ryder clinic did not occur after the blackout.
  • Fixed a bug due to which the weapon did not fall into the correct slots when added from the backpack.

Exact release date update 1.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 has not yet been revealed. Simultaneously with it, a set of the first free add-ons for the game starts
