CD Projekt is still waiting for Sony’s decision to return Cyberpunk 2077 to PS Store

Today chapter CD Projekt Adam Kichinsky, in a conversation with investors, decided to again comment on the situation with unavailability Cyberpunk 2077 in the PlayStation Store – there the game has not been bought for almost six months.

According to him, there is no new information now. The developers talk to Sony and make the project “better with every patch” – there is a noticeable progress. However, the decision to return a game to the store is entirely up to Sony.

In March, the vice-president of the company’s business line, Michal Novakovskiy, told investors something similar: “I think we are closer to returning, not further, but the final word is for Sony. Let’s wait and see“.

CD Projekt believes the PS Store’s withdrawal has hit sales across all platforms. In the near future, the main growth in sales should be facilitated by the release of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 and Xbox Series and the return of the project to the PS Store.

The last major update for Cyberpunk 2077 was released at the end of March – since then, the studio has managed to release several small patches.
