Biomutant developers have problems with PlayStation 5 version – 4K resolution had to be turned off

Company THQ Nordic Demonstrated online gameplay videos of the upcoming action role-playing game Biomutantrecorded on next generation consoles Xbox series x and Playstation 5

At the same time, the publisher clarified some of the technical features of the game:

  • On nextgen consoles, the game will work at launch only for backward compatibility… Native versions in development and coming soon after;
  • PlayStation 5 delivers dynamic 1080p upscale up to 4K and 60 FPSThe developers noted that they had to disable 4K resolution in the release version due to technical problems related to stability and performance.;
  • Xbox Series X, in turn, will launch the game in dynamic 4K with speed 60 FPS, and Xbox Series S – in dynamic 1440p and 30 FPS;
  • All versions except the standard PS4 and XB1 have a built-in FOV slider;
  • Also, on all platforms there is a change in the size and background of subtitles, customization of the interface and depth of field. In the future, there may be a motion blur switch;
  • There is a photo mode and “New game +”.

The launch of Biomutant will take place already May 25 at 5:00 pm Moscow time on consoles and at 8:00 pm Moscow time on PC.
