Outriders creators announced technical details of the console versions of the action

People can fly announced the technical features of the console versions of the role-playing shooter Outriders, a demo of which will appear on all platforms in 4 hours – at 20:00 Moscow time.

Only three versions of the action will be able to run at 60 frames per second – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Moreover, the developers assurethat the Series S version will output 4K resolution.
  • PS5 – 4K @ 60 FPS
  • Xbox Series X – 4K @ 60 FPS
  • Xbox Series S – 4K @ 60 FPS
  • Xbox One X – 4K @ 30 FPS
  • PS4 Pro – 4K @ 30 FPS
  • PS4 – 1080p @ 30 FPS
  • Xbox One – 1080p @ 30 FPS.

It is unlikely, however, that you should count on fair 4K on all announced platforms – probably, even on PS5 and Xbox Series X, dynamic settings are used to achieve a stable frame rate, let alone PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

At the same time, it is not known whether the version for the Xbox Series S will look similar to the options for the PS4 and Xbox One – or, despite the same resolution and frame rate, the graphics were tweaked there.

Outriders will be released on April 1 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC, but the developers call today’s demo a soft launch – those who wish can try the first few hours, and if they wish, transfer the save to the final version of the game.
