A Tale of Shadows – review

Studio Monochrome and publishing Hatinh Interactive released a story trailer for their upcoming adventure Tandem: A Tale of Shadows… In it we are introduced to the main characters: the smart and determined girl Emma and the teddy bear Fenton.

The creators of the game were inspired by the books of Jules Verne and Conan Doyle, as well as the work of Tim Burton. And each of the five dimensions in the mystical mansion, in which Emma and Fenton are looking for traces of the boy-magician Thomas Kane, who disappeared five years ago, looks like an expressionist creation or a painting from the period of the Golden Age of Holland.

On the way to solving the mystery of Thomas’ disappearance, the heroes have to cope with 45 puzzles and tests, many of which are related to gravity. Players will be able to switch between two playable characters to cope with puzzles.

Tandem: A Tale of Shadows is due out on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year.
