Stranger Things authors adapt King’s Talisman for Netflix – review addiction

Steven Spielberg and authors “Stranger Things” filmed “Mascot” Stephen King and Peter Straub for Netflix

Once Spielberg wanted to film a novel in a film format, but nothing came of it in the end – and now the project has found a new life in the form of a series.

Spielberg and the Duffer brothers will be producers of the show, while adaptation of the plot will be in charge of Curtis Guinn, who wrote the scripts for the same “Stranger Things”.

The plot of the novel tells about the boy Jack Sawyer, who goes on a journey in an attempt to save his dying mother. For this, he needs a Talisman capable of influencing the fate of the world. Or rather two, because during the journey, Jack learns about the existence of a fantastic twin world of America.

There is no exact date for the premiere of the project yet.
