“The Matrix: Resurrections” – Movie Trailer Shown at CinemaCon 2023, First Plot Details

During the presentation last night Warner Bros. on CinemaCon 2023 the company presented the first trailer for the fourth part of “The Matrix” and confirmed the official title of the film – The Matrix Resurrections (“The Matrix: Resurrection“).

Although the footage from the show is not yet available to the public, the event participants shared a text description of the video… According to Deadline, the trailer opens with a scene of futuristic San Francisco, followed by Neo’s conversation being performed. Keanu Reeves with the psychiatrist played Neil Patrick Harris… As in the first film, it seems that Neo’s doubts about the reality of the world around him are growing.

“I’m out of my mind?” Neo asks. “We are not using this word here,” the psychiatrist replies.

Next, we see how Neo meets Trinity in the cafe (Carrie-Anne Moss), but the couple does not recognize each other. It seems that the heroes do not remember past events.

“We’ve met?” – Trinity asks Neo.

Neo is shown again, taking two blue pills prescribed by his doctor. After a few more scenes, a character appears who appears to be a younger version of Morpheus – played by Yahya Abdul-Matin II… He tells Neo it’s “time to fly,” handing him a red pill. In some frames the track sounds White rabbit group Jefferson Airplane

The video ends with a series of action scenes with fights and acrobatic stunts in the style of the past “Matrix”, as well as a moment in which Neo stops a rocket using telekinesis.

In addition to Reeves and Moss, Daniel Bernhardt (Agent Johnson), Jada Pinkett-Smith (Niobe) and Lambert Wilson (Merovingen) will also return to their roles. Other rookies are expected to include Christina Ricci, Jessica Henwick, Priyanka Chopra and Jonathan Groff.

“Matrix: Resurrection” will be released in Russia December 16, and will appear on HBO Max on December 22.
