Sega morphs into two separate companies, creator Yakuza steps down as chief creative officer

Sega has announced a restructuring that will turn it into two separate companies – one to produce and publish games for consoles and PCs, and the other to be responsible for pachinko machines. In this case, both branches will become the property Sega sammy… The changes will take effect on April 1, 2023.

It is reported that as part of the restructuring, the creator Yakuza Toshihiro Nagoshi will leave his position as chief creative officer of Sega, but will remain in the company as a creative director. He recently confirmed the development of the next part of Yakuza.
