Resident Evil Village Receives Patch With DRM Optimization And FSR Support On PC

As promised Capcom has released an update for the PC version Resident evil village… On Twitter, the publisher confirmed that it has fixed performance issues related to anti-piracy protection and has also added support for FSR.

  • Resident Evil Village now supports AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution technology, which allows for higher frame rates on the PC, thereby enhancing the gaming experience.
  • Tweaks have been made to optimize anti-piracy protection.

Recall that last week, a decrease in performance was discovered in the computer version of Resident Evil Village. A technical analysis conducted by Digital Foundry employees revealed the negative impact of Denuvo on the speed of the game.

Resident Evil Village was released on May 7 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. Capcom recently announced that the multiplayer mode for Re: Verse has been postponed until 2023.
