Rise turned out to be a good Monster Hunter – the main thing from the reviews of the novelty

Monster Hunter: Rise will be released only on Friday, but the journalists have already completed the game and shared their impressions in the reviews – judging by the overall temperature, it turned out good Monster hunter… But without loud enthusiasm.

Capcom did not experiment, trying to fit into the portable Rise as many elements from MH: World… The team succeeded in many ways, but some critics were unhappy with the lack of important innovations that would set it apart from its predecessor.

If you are a veteran of Monster Hunter, I see no reason why you might not love Monster Hunter: Rise“, – from the text of the Comicbook (8/10).

At the same time, fans of the series should probably have enough of this. Some publications without remorse call MH: Rise the best part of the series, despite the existence of MH: World.

The bar was raised very high in the aftermath of Monster Hunter: World, but Capcom has once again surpassed itself with the addition of a more dynamic combat system, more monsters and a huge map to explore.“, – from the text of MGG (9/10).

Critics also note that the developers have added a fairly detailed and convenient tutorial for beginners – if they wish, they should get into the game pretty quickly, without fear of getting lost in dozens of different mechanics.

The only really weak point of the project is called the endgame – there is still quite a bit of content there, although now there is something to do. Developers should gradually add more high-level activities over time.

In terms of ratings only, Monster Hunter: Rise scored 86 points on Metacritic and OpenCritic, while its predecessor, Monster Hunter: World, boasts 88-90 points on both aggregators, depending on the platform.

Rise is coming March 26th exclusively on Nintendo Switch. A year later, the premiere will take place on the PC.
