Marvel cancels Howard Duck and Tigra & Dazzler – review

Subdivision Marvel television decided to close two of the four animated series planned for the channel Hulu. The victims were “Howard duck“And the show”Tiger and spark“. Work will continue on the animated series “MODOK“And”Hit manki“.
All four shows were announced a year ago as part of a collaboration between Marvel and Netflix and intended for an adult audience. As is the case with “Advocates“, The culmination of them was to be a joint crossover The offenders (“Offenders”).

“Howard the Duck” is another attempt to film the famous comic strip about the duck-like alien trying to return home, and Kevin Smith was responsible for it (“Jay and Silent Bob“). The Tiger and Spark show was supposed to talk about how two superhero girlfriends are trying to conquer Los Angeles, but in December 2019 work on it was suspended.

The script of the series “MODOK” about supervillain with a giant head is written by Jordan Blam (“American Dad“) And Patton Oswalt (“Agents Shch.I.T.“). And on the script “Hit Manki”, a series about the Japanese macaque killer, work Josh Gordon and Will Speck (“Caveman“).

The fate of the planned crossover “Offenders” is still unknown.
