A2 is the prototype of the YoRHa line of fighters, a member of the first android squadron built to fight machines. Her combat characteristics were used to create 2B and 9S – therefore, even outwardly, the heroines are very similar to each other. In the game’s universe, she is shown to be silent and mysterious. Its peculiarity is the berserk mode, which is not found in other android models.
NieR: Automata was released in March 2017 on PC and PlayStation 4, and in June 2018 it became available on Xbox One. Metacritic users rated the Windows version 8.6 out of 10, while journalists gave it 84/100. Previously released NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 … – the game overtook Automata by Peak Online on Steam.
