Unfortunately, the non-x-ray version of Cyberpunk 2077 will not be released on the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X – review

CD Projekt RED during a conversation with investors shared the first details of the non-xstgen version Cyberpunk 2077 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Unfortunately, the news is bad – it will not be available at the output of new generation consoles, but “sometime later” will appear.

How the Nxtgen version will differ from the options for the PS4 and Xbox One, however, is still unknown – perhaps, in addition to standard graphics improvements such as rendering distance, textures and resolution, users will also be able to support ray tracing and 60 frames per second.

At the same time, buyers of the Xbox One version will be able to launch the new product on the Xbox Series X without any problems, while receiving some improvements like a more stable frame rate and, possibly, resolution. A similar opportunity for PS4 and PS5 has not yet been reported, but most likely it will be similar.

Apparently, CD Projekt will not ask for extra money for the non-xtgen version of the RPG, if the user has already bought the pastgen version – they will simply download the update if console manufacturers provide such an opportunity.

Microsoft, as the developers note, allows you to crank up such an initiative, while Sony she has not yet publicly disclosed her policy.

Cyberpunk 2077 is released September 17 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Moreover, in the patch of the first day, most likely, additional replicas will be included, which, due to the pandemic, will not have time to write by the time the news is sent to print.
