The Prince is back: Ubisoft officially showed a remake of Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time

Company Ubisoft officially announced a remake Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time… The project is being developed by the Indian studios Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC. What is known:

  • Actor Yuri Levental, who played Prince in the original 2003 game, returned to voice the character in the remake;
  • The developers have completely updated character models, effects, cutscenes, improved sound, soundtrack and improved animation of acrobatic tricks;
  • Camera and character controls, as well as combat mechanics have been completely reimagined in accordance with modern standards. In this case, the game will allow you to choose between the classic and new layout;
  • During the passage, players will discover the classic 1998 Prince of Persia (in the 1992 Mac version). It will be available at any time from the main menu;
  • Port for Nintendo Switch not officially announced at the moment, but this platform is mentioned on the game’s website and for a while was indicated in the Twitter account of Ubisoft France along with the version for Stadia… Perhaps the announcements are planned at a later time;
  • On personal computers, the game will be released in stores Uplay and Epic Games Store, and will also be available by subscription Uplay +
