Fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy NTavailable on console Playstation 4 and PCwill no longer receive new content, the company said Square enix. At the same time, fans will be able to continue to play online – the servers are not yet disconnected.
Together with the console game, Square Enix will no longer support the new content and the arcade version of Dissidia Final Fantasy, available in Japanese gaming halls.
The Japanese publisher also said that the creation of a continuation of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is not included in its plans.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is the third game in a series of fighting games with the heroes of Final Fantasy after Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy for Playstation portable.
Following the release of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, developers updated the game with new characters, costumes, and arenas. In 2019, the fighting game received a shareware version.
