Boundary creators show how ray tracing changes their game – review

Some time ago during a conference GTC China 2019 company NVIDIA named games in which ray tracing technology will appear. Among them was a space first-person shooter Boundarya small Chinese studio working on Surgical Scalpels.

Now the studio has shown how the new technology will look live in their project. Work on the game has not yet been completed, so for the release shown can and should change for the better. In addition, the developers were in such a hurry to boast of an update that they released a video with typos.

Boundary was originally announced as exclusive to the PS4. However, then the creators decided to release the project on PC. The release on both platforms should take place in the first quarter of 2023, but the exact date has not yet been announced.

Boundary will offer players the role of astronauts in heavy equipment. They have to fight in zero gravity against other players, as well as participate in operations on orbiting space stations in low gravity.
