Remedy is working on five games: One of them is a new AAA project from the Control team

Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, she outlined her future plans for new games that can be expected over the next few years.

At the moment, Remedy is working with four teams on five different projects at once. Some of them combine elements of live service, while others are traditional AA and AAA-level singles titles.

The latter will be two. For money Epic Games funded the next large-scale Remedy game for next-gen consoles and PC, which will take place in a shared universe with Control, which possibly implies a new part Alan wake… A full-fledged sequel to Control was not mentioned in a conversation with journalists. Another AAA title is being created by the Control team, but the cat has cried out about it so far, besides the fact that it will be an original project and its development is now at the readiness level of the first draft scenario.

In addition to the big game, for Epic Games the Finns are making another multiplatform title on a smaller scale, which will take place in the same universe.

The fourth project is a single player shooter campaign CrossFire X, and the fifth is a shareware cooperative game from the team Vanguard… According to CEO Tero Virtala, the studio is committed to releasing titles that can be sustained for a longer period of time. Here we are talking not only about live service projects designed for 5-10 years, but also about projects with active development during only the first two years. The idea is that over the years, Remedy will have more games that will be played by an increasing number of regular income players.
