According to the executive producer Marvel Studios Victoria Alonso, the firm plans to expand its animation direction.
The first major project of this character will be the upcoming animated series “What if…?” about alternative realities, but the authors are not going to dwell on this. According to Alonso, Marvel will have a separate animation direction and even its own mini-studio responsible for such ideas.
What kind of projects the department will produce was not specified, but it can be assumed that if successful, it will focus on the second season of “What if …?”. Not to mention the rest of the publisher’s vast library of stories.
Premiere of the first season “What If …?” will take place at Disney + on August 11.
