Old finals and one new one. Briefly and without spoilers.
Because of the port in this version, the main plot is presented through a virtual machine simulator called DDLC. Some aspects of the game have changed a bit because of this.
Regular ending
To get this ending, go through the first act without restarting, that is, you can start writing poetry in each of the three sections no more than two times. At the same time, you need to spend the weekend with either Yuri or Natsuki (you can’t both).
During the second act, you can make any choice.
Good ending
To get this epilogue, you need to create three different saves in the first act. One is to create two poems for Seiori, one for Yuri, and one for Natsuki. It’s easy to understand that everything has been done correctly – this action unlocks art with each of the characters that day. You have to collect all 9 arts to get a good ending.
It is also boring to spend the weekend once with Yuri and once with Natsuki. And after the weekend, tell Seiori “I love you.”
Please note that the above actions must be completed before the onset of the second act.
If something doesn’t work out, restart everything to start the game over. To do this, exit the DDLC application and run the reset.sh file (you will find it in the folder with the main files).
The rest of the game must be completed as usual.
Quick ending
Instead of clicking on the “New Game” button in the DDLC app, go to the “desktop”. In the Characters folder, delete the Monika.chr file. Go back to DDLC – the final will be waiting there.
“Play with me” ending
True ending
To get a new ending, you need to play side stories that are outside the DDLC application.
From the very beginning, none of them will be available to you. You can unlock them by writing poems with words that certain characters like. Moreover, on each day, you need to write to different girls, sorting out their different combinations. There should be six of them in total.
You can do this in the same way as for a good ending (create separate save files).
What words do the characters like:
- Natsuki are words associated with food, animals, and fashion.
- Seiori – words associated with romance, emotion and family.
- Yuri – words associated with mystery, darkness and intelligence.
When you play all six received stories at least once, a secret seventh will appear. This is the real ending of the game.
