Insider Daniel Richtman revealed how the development of the upcoming Avengers 5 movie is progressing, the storylines of which will gradually unfold in the Fourth and Fifth phases of the MCU after Avengers Finale. As it became known to Gamebomb.ru, the Avengers 5 central element is planning to make the Secret Invasion arch from Marvel comics, in which the Skrulls decide to start a full-scale invasion of Earth, replacing all the key leaders on the planet with their counterparts. According to Richtman, the majority of the Skrulls shown to the Marvel cinematic universe are good and help Nick Fury, but that doesn’t mean that all Skrulls are like that. The appearance of the evil Skrulls in a large-scale invasion is planned just for Avengers 5.
According to Richtman, the first hints of an impending invasion will be shown in the movie “Captain Marvel 2” with Brie Larson (Brie Larson). The picture will again show the confrontation between the Cree and Skrull races, as well as the interplanetary organization M.E.Ch. (S.W.O.R.D.), which was spotlighted in the scene after the captions “Spider-Man: Away from Home” with real Nick Fury. Richtman notes that then the development of this confrontation will gain momentum in the planned multi-part project for Disney +, which has not yet been announced. Ultimately, the events of this project and “Captain Marvel 2” will lead to the large-scale film “Avengers 5” with many new superheroes, such as Shan Chi, who will enter the battle with the alien invaders.
It is assumed that the film “Captain Marvel 2” will be released in 2023, respectively, approximately at the same time an unannounced series about the confrontation between Cree and Skrulls should be released. Marvel, after Avengers Finale, has already announced that it will include 8 films in the Fifth Phase, which will be released in 2023-2023. Probably, the last of them may be just the “Avengers 5”, scheduled for 2023.
