Graphics settings, cross-saves and improved speed – CDPR revealed a new patch for The Witcher 3 Switch

Studio CD Projekt RED officially announced the large-scale update 3.6 for the switch version of the role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Huntpreviously released in a number of countries Today.

In addition to the well-known innovations, including the ability to import saves from Steam and Gogas well as custom graphics settings, the update added support for the touch screen of the console to the game, thanks to which users can now navigate menus, interact with HUD elements and play Gwint with a simple touch of the screen.

The developers also noted that when transferring saves, errors caused by mods can be transferred along with the save files of the PC version, and the save files themselves must have unnamed names, otherwise the Nintendo Switch will not be able to recognize them.

A complete list of changes includes:

  • Touch screen support;
  • Ability to import game saves from GOG and Steam;
  • Additional language versions of subtitles and dubbing in the form of free DLC for some regions;
  • Additional graphic options;
  • A number of performance improvements;
  • Corrections of various visual and functional bugs, including errors related to the game process and other elements of the game.
