DiRT 5 on PlayStation 5 will also have a mode with 120 FPS – review

A couple of months ago, when the announcement took place DiRT 5, developers announced support for 120 frames per second on the Xbox Series X.
And just now Codemasters confirmed that a similar mode will be available to owners of the PlayStation 5. So far, however, it is not known what resolution is used on both consoles with an increase in the frame rate – perhaps 1080p or 1440r. Find out closer to the exit.

In addition, the race team praised the DualSense gamepad, which offers players a unique experience – nothing was said more specifically, but it is probably about adaptive triggers and pinpoint vibration.

Last fall, the author of Wired managed to play on DualSense in Gran turismo sport, where he especially noted a new type of vibration – it clearly conveys the features of the surface on which the car is traveling.

When we managed to launch a technical demo, all the studio staff came with the desire to try the game on DualSense. It offers something new and unique. It seemed to us that it is great for racing, especially with such a variety of content and cars.

DiRT 5 is released October 9 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Until the end of the year, the game will appear on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
