CS: GO completely redesigned Dust2 and Mirage maps

Valve has released an update to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive shooter, in which the most popular maps have been redone. Among them are Dust2, Mirage and Train.

Valve’s popular CS: GO shooter got an update in which several cards received significant changes at once, Gamebomb.ru reports. Most of the edits were received by one of the most popular Mirage maps, which fans have long been waiting for. The terrorists’ access to the center was slightly expanded, which will allow them to play even with “Astralis smoke”. A bench was added at the connector so that players could jump out of the window without assistance. At point B, the curb was removed from the balcony and the gap was closed, which allowed the jump to look towards the exit from the center. A new lumbago on the “carpets” was also added.

On the Dust2 map in CS: GO, only one moment was changed, which can greatly affect the gameplay, Gamebomb.ru reports. In the tunnel, the developers decided to “open” the roof. Now terrorists can throw smoke or light-noise grenades through it to facilitate access to point B. A similar opportunity appeared on Train when playing through the “green”. In addition, the map received minor changes to improve visibility.

The developers of CS: GO paid attention to the Cache card, which was radically redesigned not so long ago. Graphic enhancements have affected performance. The map has now been optimized to increase FPS. On Cache, they worked on visibility in some locations and updated the radar map.

Shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was released in 2012, and after 6 years it became free. The game all these years remains one of the three most popular games on Steam.
