Members Playstation 5 noticed a change in the status of the release date Final Fantasy XVI on the game page in the system PS Store console. The former abbreviation TBC (To be confirmed at a later date) has changed to Coming Soon (Coming soon)… There are no changes in the web version of the store yet.
Final Fantasy XVI was announced in September last year as a temporary console exclusive for PlayStation 5. The project does not yet have an official release date, but it has been in development for a long time – at least four years. According to Jason Schreier, the game will be released earlier than many think.
Last week Square enix held a spring presentation with announcements and screenings. Another show of the same kind will take place in the summer. Perhaps more information on FFXVI will be disclosed there.
