AMD Ryzen 4700G hybrid overclocked faster than “clean” CPUs – review

Hybrid Chip Solutions AMD Ryzen 7 4700G Renoir have not yet entered the market, but preliminary tests already have it. And they show that the new hybrid processor is very good.

Judging by the fresh benchmarks, the novelty operating at a frequency of 4.55 GHz for all cores surpasses Intel Core i7-10700K and AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. These two eight-core chips belong to the category of desktop and lack a full-fledged graphics subsystem.

Testing conducted in Cinebench. In the R15 version, the novelty scored 2325 points, and in R20 – 5336 points in the multi-threaded test. Overclocked to 4.3 GHz, the Ryzen 7 3800X and Core i7-10700K without boost gain about the same 5300 “parrots” in the Cinebench R20.

In single-threaded testing in Cinebench R15, the result was 217 points, which is comparable to the Core i9-10900K. True, we note that during operation, the LSS was used. It remains to wait for the release of new products to test them more carefully.
