As to why Capcom decided to link Resistance with Resident Evil 3, rather than releasing both games separately, Fabiano commented as follows:
“Recall that the Japanese subtitle RE3 was Last Escape. Both titles have characters who are trying to escape somewhere or from something, so from the point of view of the subject it made sense. We also wanted to take on the task of creating an online game whose events unfold in the universe of RE. “
The release of the updated Resident Evil 3 will take place April 3rd. Resident Evil: Resistance will be released with her.
