And it happens: A participant in a Mortal Kombat 11 tournament was expelled due to the name of the list of moves

Finalist of the official tournament Mortal kombat 11 was disqualified for the playful title of his list of tricks called “WhyDidNRSdoThis”, which can be translated as “Why did NetherRealm Studios do this?”

The live broadcast of the fight was abruptly interrupted, after which the surprised commentators tried for a long time to find words to explain what had happened. At the same time, Titaniumtigerzz and his rival were not immediately notified of the disqualification and continued to play outside the broadcast.

“Unfortunately, it looks like we have a little problem here, and someone … we have a situation,” one of the commentators managed to say.

As the participant of the tournament under the nickname Titaniumtigerzz, who played for Shiva, said later, the name of the list of techniques became the reason for disqualification. He wanted to point out to them that Shiva is a poorly balanced character, capable of conducting an unblockable attack from above, which is often pointed out in the esports community.

The player also noted that he could have changed the name of his list of techniques for the sake of further participation in the tournament, but he was not given such an opportunity. He also said that the suspension will not prevent him from playing in future Mortal Kombat competitions.

As a sign of support for the progamer, users send messages to the developers with the hashtag #whydidnrsdothis, but they do not react to this.
