This is the end: support for Mortal Kombat 11 has ended

Led by Ed Boone team NetherRealm Studios announced the end of support for the fighting game Mortal kombat 11 new content. The reason given is the need to focus on the next project. What the studio is currently preparing is not specified.

“NetherRealm Studios is focusing on the next project. Support for Mortal Kombat 11 with new DLCs, including characters, has been going on for over two years and is now ending,” the post said.

The studio is rumored to be working on a sequel to Injustice or a brand new game licensed by Marvel
