One of the staff Valveanswering user question Steam, said that the Steam Deck interface will replace Big Picture mode. The release date of the update has not yet been announced.
Big Picture Mode is designed to be used by Steam on a TV and with a controller.
The Steam Deck is a hybrid of a handheld console and a gaming computer from Valve. US, Canada, EU and UK players can already reserve the device. The first users to book a Steam Deck will be able to place an order this December.
The list of regions will be replenished in 2023.
