Resident Evil: Village will run at 900p on regular Xbox One and PS4 – features of the console versions of horror revealed

Company Capcom officially revealed the technical features of the console versions of horror Resident Evil: Village

On all consoles, with the exception of the standard Xbox One and PlayStation 4, games will have two modes of operation: with a priority on performance or the best picture, while wherever 4K is indicated, we are talking about dynamic resolution.

  • Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will be able to run the game in 4K at 60 frames or at 4K / 45 FPS, but with ray tracing effects;
  • Xbox Series S will also offer support for ray tracing, but only at 1440p and 30 FPS, while the second mode will provide 1440p without rays at 45 frames;
  • Versions for Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro are adapted for 60 FPS at 1080p, or can optionally switch to 4K at 30 FPS;
  • In turn, nothing but 900p / 30 FPS on Xbox One and 900p / 45 FPS on PlayStation 4 regular pastgen will not offer.
  • Owners of old consoles will be able to update the game for new ones for free. On Xbox, the upgrade will be implemented via Smart Delivery.
