Resident Evil: Village kicks off as a Resident Evil 2 remake – Capcom reveals first sales

Company Capcom revealed the starting sales of horror Resident Evil: Village

In the four days since release, the game’s total shipped copies and digital sales have surpassed 3 million around the world. The result is similar to the remake of Resident Evil 2 (for a week of sales) and 500 thousand more than the seventh part (for the same period of time)… Last year’s Resident Evil 3 kicked off at 2 million (in 5 days). The cumulative circulation of all games in the series is now over 100 million.

Resident Evil: Village was released on May 7th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Google Stadia.
