Dying Light will celebrate its fifth anniversary in four weeks – review

Polish studio Techland previously announcedthat as part of the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the zombie action movie Dying light will hold four events, each of which will last a week. And now started the first of them: players are invited to hunt for jumpers.

During the festive skirmishes, players will be able to get a drawing of C4 explosives. And Harlan’s improved hook will let the walking dead drop from the rooftops. The authors of the game do not want to spoil the surprises, but hint that among the awards is a completely insane outfit.

The next major update was released to the game. And his main innovation is the story mode, which will greatly simplify the passage for beginners and those who just want to get to the end of the story.

In this mode, zombies become noticeably weaker, and the hero becomes more enduring. When falling, he receives not so much damage, and the punishment for unsuccessful jumps will be softer. First-aid kits restore twice as much health, and if you still manage to die, then half the experience points will be lost.

Techland Studio also published a special anniversary video in which it recalled the long journey made by the game and thanked all the players. After all, according to the creators, they just released a good game. And the community made her great.

It is in order to celebrate the contribution of each player, the holiday events are planned so that anyone finds something interesting for themselves and can receive the desired rewards. Even those who did not buy the game: Dying Light’s Steam free until February 23.
